CASTLE GUESTHOUSE
 

A grass lawn on both sides of the pool  provides space for both sunbathing and entertaining. Yellow mandevilla climbing on a pair of white trellises out front is a great contrast to the crimson bougainvillea along the driveway and oleander hedges.  The ocean & pool views are magnificent from this vantage point 25' above the water.

The kitchen offers granite counters, stainless appliances, and plenty of storage room. The living area has a large armoire with 27" flat-screen TV with built-in DVD and VCR players. Satellite (Dish Network) receiver. We recently replaced the sea grass loveseat with an upholstered pull-out sofa for smaller children.

Oceanfront King & Queen suites have brightly painted Maine Cottage furniture. Both en-suite bathrooms have open glass-blocked showers, granite vanities and halogen lighting. Drapes and white Bahama shutters for privacy. Each of the suites has an unobstructed view of the reef through three large fixed-pane windows set into the rounded oceanfront turrets and flanked by painted wooden shutters.

The queen suite also has a set of bunks with adult mattresses and an extra pedestal sink in the bathroom. Separate A/C zones for each bedroom.
 
Castle Guesthouse (Max 6 people) details:
  • Air-conditioning, ceiling fans and a (front) covered porch. Colorful Caribbean-style furniture and tiled floors throughout. 
  • King bed suite and Queen bed suite with 2 (twin) bunk beds. Each oceanfront suite looks out to the reef & has a private bathroom with granite counters, glass block & tiled shower and plenty of towels. Pull-out sleeper sofa & (2) wicker chairs in great room, teak Adirondack chairs, teak loungers and coffee table on deck. 
  • Guesthouse pool and (covered) oceanfront paved deck face due East, while Castle's pool/decks face due South; providing sunbathing privacy for guests of both residences.
  • French doors and open architecture allow the trade-winds to cool the house on days when air-conditioning isn't a necessity, but maintain security.
  • Guesthouse is perched 25 feet above sea level (and 150'+ from road) which enhances both privacy and the view of the deep blue Caribbean Sea inside the reef.. 
  • 2 phones, washer/dryer, TV, DVD/VCR & stereo, full kitchen with refrigerator, range, microwave, dishwasher & full compliment of pots/pans/cutlery/etc. Teak dining table and (4) chairs in dining area.
  • Wireless DSL available in Queen suite.
  • Bath Towels, Pool towels and all linens/blankets provided. Crib can be arranged.
  • Bahama shutters on front &  side windows of the villa ensure privacy while allowing ventilation and sunlight.
